E-Fax - Anyone used this Service?

Got laid off this month so I'm in job search mode. There's a sevice called E-Fax that provides one a number to use as a FAX phone number and then you receive your faxes via e'mail.

gotta download and install their software though. Being free I'm a bit leary of spyware etc.

Anyone used this service? If so please provide any info you can on it.

My wife and I used EFax for a couple of years when we were still going OTR in our 18 wheeler.  We still have our acct, just don't have need of it any longer since I haul the same load every week.

Works fine, no problems with spyware, etc.

It only costs $ if you send fax's....receiving is free.

Good idea, great service.

I can also recommend it.  You will just get a lot of junk e-mail from them but other than that, nothing to be concerned about.
