Jennifer Aniston,"hottest woman of all time"?
« on: December 09, 2011, 07:04:34 PM »
I just saw some blurb about a poll from Mens Health Magazine that voted Jennifer Aniston as the hottest woman of all time, beating all sorts of other beauties, including Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie, and Raquel Welch.

I don't even know who she is. When I saw photos, I said, "huh?"

Chich from 'friends', lost brad pitt to angilina, in a bunch of chick flicks.

And no, not hottest women ever. Not even close.

Dick, the 3 you listed were the only worthies in the top 10, IMO. Further into the article, Aniston's own #1 pick was a close run between Brigitte Bardot  and Gloria Steinem [barf].

There's a lot of beautiful women in movies today, and there have been in the past. I could list hundreds of them. I don't think this Jennifer Aniston person would hold a candle to any of them.

What's her appeal?

Hell, Mila Kunis isn't a glamour queen, but she's a lot sexier.

I didn't know her age, but suspected forties because of the wrinkles on her elbows. The plastic surgeon missed a spot. ;)

Gay men? I dunno what the readership makeup is of Men's Health. The name of the magazine alone bores me to tears.

Aniston's rather meh in my book.

Found the list here, but my computer won't maneuver the page properly.
Keep a headcount of brunettes versus blondes. If they are forward-thinking, there will be more of the former (the brunette trend is increasing). If the latter, they are very old people.

She's very pretty, but I'm not a great blonde fan so she wouldn't make my top ten list.

Some that I think are pretty hot:

Joanne Whaley
Dana Delaney
Mary Steenburgen
Andie Macdowal
Amy Adams
Jewel Staite

Audrey Hepburn is hands down the hottest woman of all time (assuming all are judged at their peak).

Of course we only really have the past century from which to judge, since prior to that images are unreliable.

Interesting. Hepburn is very beautiful, but I'd never think to put her in a contest with Marilyn Monroe or Raquel Welch or Angelina Jolie. Lady vs. vamps, if you will.

I agree, it's no contest. ;)

Clearly people have different ideas of what "hot" entails.

Ava Gardner. Veronica Lake for the blonde segment.

Liz Taylor was very impressive in the 50s, too.

Personally I happen to find Aniston very attractive.  But hottest of all time?  No.

What's with the hating on Aniston? She's very beautiful, or at least she was back in the day. Maybe not top ten hottest beautiful, but lists like that are a joke, anyway. Reminds me of when some media outlet asked for nominations for "100 Greatest Songs of All Time!" Some enterprising wag sent in recommendations for music going back to the Dark Ages.

I don't know which one that's supposed to be, but if she were the current flavor of the month, you lot would be wailing and moaning about how she's too skinny and you like curvy women.  :P

Fistful, I'm not "hating on Aniston", I just don't see her as being #1. But I'm an old guy, so what do I know?

Meh, I dated the hottest girl of all time when I was 20.  And no, this isn't just me remembering incorrectly.  I saw her a few years ago and  :O, still just smoking hot.

My wife is obviously the hottest woman ever to exist on the planet.  Jennifer Aniston, I'm sorry to say, comes not even close.

Hey not saying that she is the hottest thing around but I have a friend from high school on my Facebook that everyone that sees her picture thinks she is 23 or so.  This woman is 41 and has had 5 kids.

Also among the top 10 were Madonna and Britney Spears, FWIW.

Very enlightening. It's really nice to see that some of you have taste. And equally appalling to see that some of you don't.
