Is there a cost-effective blood pressure monitor that will feed a smart phone? Or is there a fitbit-type watch thing that is affordable?

Most of the Omrons are good. Mine talks to my phone and also my Kardia EKG reader.

At work, we generally recommend the Omron monitors to patients.  Most of them have an app, so you can track to your heart's content.
