Title: Today's history is a twofer
Post by: vaskidmark on July 14, 2015, 09:40:53 AM
Happy Bastille Sedition Day to all y'all.

1789 – French Revolution: Citizens of Paris storm the Bastille and free seven prisoners. France descends into a bloodbath over the next few years as “Reason” supplants the old monarchy.

1798 – The Sedition Act becomes law in the United States making it a federal crime to write, publish, or utter false or malicious statements about the United States government.

stay safe.
