Must me nice to be skinny enough that eating crap like that isn't a concern.

Ok, I'll go back to munching raw veggies in an attempt to lose weight and lower my cholesterol.

How is this a bad thing?  I'm skinny as heck and I still eat raw veggies by the pound.  Cucumbers, green peppers, mushrooms, pea pods, tomatoes, and CARROTS!!! MMMMMM.  It's so good.  Meat is good too, but gotta love the veggies.

Y'know, nearly 20,000 of the calories come from the oil, and unless he is actually consuming all of it, the sandwich contains WAY less than 30,000 calories.  He'd have to drink the canola oil from the fryer to rack up all 30 grand.  He would also need to drink the grease from his frying pan to hit the total.

Based on my thoroughly scientific wild-ass guess, I would put this sandwich at no more than a mere 15,000 calories.  That's only a week's supply of calories.

What's the point in eating that much carbs, calories, saturated fats all in one helping? Is it supposed to be something unique and therefore cool?

"Because it was there" perhaps.

I ate the 54oz steak at Traildust in Dallas once on a dare.  I got the meal free for doing so.

Shrimp eating contest in FL again in my mid 20's ...really hard to coax your Crab in the Crab races afterwards tho when that full...hated to waste a good beer, but if you shake up your beer and spew your crab, it does get your crab over the finsh circle first tho... Adapt . Overcome, Improvise *grin*

Just because, and having fun is all.

Veggie Burger
Those, along with Turkey burgers and soy burgers and any burger not containing BEEF, are just plain wrong.

Larry,

There are some basic rules for surviving and living life. Among many - are two:

1- Always trust your gut.

2- If the dog won't eat it - you shouldn't.

My dog  at the time wouldn't even play with the wrapper, the box, gave the neighbor who brought them to a cookout - the most " you have to be kidding me  - right?" look .

Yes the Dog got his own Meatball sandwich  from Subway for  his B-day. The BIG  Foot long sucker all for himself. Dat is what he said he wanted...*grin*  He preferred the Sonic Burgers to anyone else's...he really like having his own onion rings too.

When recovered from his "hospital stay".  I fixed him his own Porterhouse  on the grill...that is what we were having.

...has left the building.

This is the same male malfunction that caused me to drink tequila by the GLASS a few St. Patty's back in Boston. And yes, the tequila incident was preceded by drinking Guiness and glasses of whiskey served neat. The one and only time I've ever thrown up from drinking. Had a hangover for three days that was only cured by listening to the Dropkick Murphy's and staring at the ceiling.

Okay - who lives nearest to Preacheman?

I figure Preacherman NEEDS one of the sandwiches.  When finished, he won't need any pain meds and he will forget any and all pain. He will be too busy doing an impersonation of a beached whale, he won't be able to move - so nothing can cause any pain.

"You want fries with that".

And what is the cholesterol count of that monstrosity?

As for dogs and burgers... I go to Sonic several times a week b/c I like fountain drinks and their ice. Anyway, my sweet Baby Boo Bear { an Aussie Shep/Weimariner cross} goes , too. She feels abused if she doesn't get a truck ride every day. I get my coke and order her a water w/o ice so she won't get brain freeze. She drinks out of the cup, but I have to hold it for her. She likes Sonic's child size burgers, plain and dry.

It's not a bad thing, I'm just frustrated because I too used to be a skinny dude who could eat anything.  I'm not now and am making major changes to my diet to ensure I'm around for my daughter.

On the plus side of things, I lost 5lbs in just under 2 weeks without starving myself or feeling hungry.  Cheesy

Maybe when I get down to my target of 185 (I'm 5'11"), I'll celebrate by having a burger like that. Wink

I'll have one Carl's Jr.'s Pastrami Burger, an apple pie and a Diet Coke. Super-size the drink.

After reading that, I'm almost ashamed I even attempted this a while ago:

Iin the beginning of time, man discovered bread. The next day, man invented the sandwich, and it was good. For thousands of years it has been a staple of human society, remaining relatively unchanged until today. Recently i've been experiementing with several creations, such as salami, bagels, and onion cream cheese, or turkey, wheat, and jalapeno sald dressing. But today, I've combined them all into one sandwich so great, it'll surely drive all animals to extinct.
I give you: the Extinctionator

4 pieces of bread
1 cow
2 pigs 1 turkey: a head of lettuce
mustard, mayonnaise, onion and chive creeam cheese, jalapeno ranch salad dressing

Man, now I'm hungry. If there we Man Points or Man Bucks, that would be worth a thousand or two. What could be more American than wasting a bunch of food and making yourself fat just to out-do another fella?

I'm kind of surprised that he's not drinking a diet soda with that, if only for the comedic value.
