Title: "Not an act of terrorism"

They don't know what the motive was, but they're sure it's not terrorism?  That seems a bit premature...

If, as I've read elsewhere, there was a 3 year old in the car, the only two options are psychotic break or terrorism.

When they don't release a name it is is very suspicious.  Similar to when  "youths" is the main descriptor of a urban gang attack.

Lakeisha N. Holloway.  (Oregon newspaper (http://www.oregonlive.com/today/index.ssf/2015/12/lakeisha_n_holloway_of_portlan.html) is the only one I've seen print it, CNN etc are not)

Probably can't take brain damage from recreational drugs out of the picture.

Still, apparently she's illegally used a vehicle before. Why was there no background check run on her before she bought that car? The car culture is responsible for this.

Ah, yes. I forgot drugs. That's probably the highest probability explanation.

Agreed.  After all, nobody needs 200 horsepower, only the military should have vehicles that powerful.  Big engines like that practically require high capacity fuel tanks, and many have semi-automatic transmissions.

Story I saw claims the aw-thaw-rih-tays DO know the motive -- but they don't want to discuss it. That says only one thing to me, and it ain't "drugs."

On the other hand, there's the source ...
