Steve Martin's King Tut is racist.

Coddled, weak-willed idiots have no perspective.

What I'd like to see is businesses coming together to fund a database where anyone who engages in this type of idiocy is added to the database and any application or resume they submit to any subscribing business is automatically rejected.

Equivalent to blackface, too?

Why, that has the m-word written all over it.

I am trying to think of something, but I am having trouble thinking of something more sad than having to go back to 1978 to find something to complain about.  I guess M&M's whining might be more sad.

Thank-you.  But the video is not working; just audio (for me, anyway.)  So I looked it up at NBC.com:  http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/king-tut/3505914?snl=1  :)

Nope. That there is a crime against humanity.

I have had trouble with that on youtube before.  If I refresh the page it usually works okay.

everything under the sun is racist to someone.  The important issues are those that the media is championing at the time, as they will get all the publicity.

Nope, right back atcha.

It was used in "Forum*" earlier, but no big deal:

1962 Broadway show "Forum." I don't know if it was used in this stage show.

1966 Film "Forum."  I heard it here in this movie, thought it was hilarious:

Quote
Philia: That's the brute who raped my country, Thrace!
Pseudolus: He raped Thrace?
Philia: And then he came and did it again! And then again!
Pseudolus: He raped Thrace thrice?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060438/quotes

1974 Film "Saddles"  Certainly not the first time a "good one" was used, borrowed, copied, purchased, by other comedy writers.  Origin may go back to Shakespeare, for all we know.  Or Joe Miller.
