(1) Cut up ham into cube-ish chunks.  Mix with fruzzen macaroni and cheeze from Swanson's or whoever.  Heat however you heat things.

If he really wants "soup," dilute the resulting mix  drastically

Hey,
Charby's bag of beans soup mix is probably the least troublesome.  Usually in the rice section of the grocery store. then think about scalloped potatoes and ham. Boxed scalloped potatoes start according to the directions and add your ham in cubes.   Slivered Ham on baked potatoes.  Stir ham into mac n cheese. green beans and add ham while cooking.  I will check Iowa pork producers website and see if  they have any more good ideas.
