Hello folks, my name is Zsa-Zsa
« on: December 02, 2007, 04:15:42 PM »
well that's my internet handle anyhow. Stand_Watie is my dad. Actually Stand_watie is typing this message. Because he has faith in the moral caliber of the people on this forum, he is willing to trust them to talk to his twelve year old daughter, only in a manner befitting speaking to a 12 year old... Of course he's going to be looking over my shoulder. And of course he knows that other members of the forum are going to be telling him if there's any innappropriate commentary coming from me or to me.

Now, speaking as myself, I Stand_Watie, set my daughter up her own profile, because I let her read "Stetson's" message commenting on her and she immediately decided that message boarding was cool and she wanted to do it. I can't think of a better, classier,  group of people to do it with (unless perhaps Mother Theresa's order has a message forum). That said, please remember she's twelve. You don't need to shield her from issues such as hunting or human on human violence...but if you're deliberately speaking to her, please leave the profanity or vulgarity out...she's quite literally an utter innocent sexually speaking. I'd like her to stay that way for quite a few more years, preferably until she's married. So I ask you to speak to her on that topic as if you were speaking to an elderly nun, or even perhaps more so.

Again, you members of this forum, I ask you to help me raise my daughter. If she makes a nuisance of herself, please let me know. If some other forum member is talking to her innappropriately (In public) let me know. P.m.'s aren't a problem because I'm going to be pre-reading them before her.

First, you also have to realize that we've got a few rules around here.

One of them is that it's okay... Nope, it's ENCOURAGED that people named Stand get whacked (don't bruise or draw blood tho...) over the head occasionally. A good sharp rap with two knuckles is the preferred mode. Or kicked in the tush. It's all good. Now, we hope you live up to our standards.

Oh yeah... Next rule... Any "dating" is to be done with the "boyfriend" wearing an accessory known as a "shock collar." Nope, can't find this thing at Hot Topic, altho, when one comes to think about it, maybe they'd sell... Sigh...

I'll be happy to hold the button gizmo.

Jen's got a twelve year old. I've already showed her "boyfriend" the plot of ground that's easily accessible via backhoe... He went kinda pale there for a minute or three...

Welcome to APS, and if I may offer a word of advice, you've got a father who cares enough about you to watch out for where you go on the internet.  I was younger than you when I first got online, and I immediately set about finding all the terrible things I could.  I've never been right since grin

So, listen to him, stay away from the things he doesn't want you to see, and get as much as possible out of the things he recommends.

Tell your daddy not to worry because girls that have guns and know how to use them usually scare off the creepy guys to begin with. I'll throw my girlfriend into the girls with guns pics.

Eh, she just wouldn't let me take pictures of her first time shooting cause she was intimidated.  Admittedly, I should've rented a .22, and not started her off with a snubby .38 and a 1911.  Next time I'll do it right.

Welcome aboard!  Hopefully you'll find that this group of people tend to be fun, polite, and in general don't take ourselves too seriously....

Oh, and yeah...  Stay away from Irwin.   He's creepy.....   Smiley

Wow, welcome aboard young lady!

You will find, after a little while here, that you'll be tons smarter then most people you meet.
I am (probably) older then your dad and I have learned more then I have forgotten. grin
I hope you have a great time here.

Welcome Zsa-Zsa,

It's a big world out there.  There's lots of good people out there, there's lots of bad people out there.  You're going to grow up during very interesting times.  Do your best, be true to yourself, always be honest to yourself, and you'll be fine.   Oh, and AR15's are evil, stick with a cute AK47.

PS, I'll give you $5 to hide all of your dad's left shoes.

PS again, hug your ferret for me.  He's a cute one
