Chances of a Chicago-Chicago World Series

As a White Sox fan, I put $20 down on them to win the AL Penant, and another $20 to win the World Series while I was in Vegas.

I've also noticed *have been beaten over the head with by the Chicago Media* that the Cubs, are doing "okay" this year.  (as in: after 100 tries this might be "Next Year"... rolleyes)

Anyway, I would love to see a Sox-Cubs World Series with the Sox sweeping the Cubs.  grin

Anyone else think it might be a Chicago World Series ??

So what kind of odds did you get?

I remember back in 87-88 when KU won the National Championship in basketball I felt like putting $100 down at the beginning of the season that they would win it all.  Part of the reasoning behind being that the Final Four that year was in KC.  At the time the odds were about 20 or 30-1.  Would have been a nice paycheck.

IIRC,  Something like 16 or 18 to 1 on the penant and 35 to 1 on WS.

~A grand total if they go all the way.
