Out of a sense of masochism,  I am watching the Democratic debate, which is just starting.

I think I'll just go door to door and offer to express the anal glands on all my neighbor's dogs.

Pretty much the same effect.

I can't top that!

If we had some form of TV hooked up,  I'd be all over this.  They're going to beat Hillary like a tetherball.   >:D

I left my narcotics at home.  Someone had it on before class started.  I'd have needed the whole rest of the bottle to get through that.

Webb was the saner one of the bunch.

I can't decide who I find more repulsive between hillary and bernie.

I totally lost it when the crowd went wild when Bernie said he was tired of hearing about the emails.  It was like his check cleared the bank and then everybody was told they would get $5 on the way out.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Yes. When I heard that, it was clear to me that a meteor strike on the place would have gone into the 'Positive' column.

I learned that the reason we need gun control was because gun manufacturers and gun dealers give guns to kids and criminals. If only I had known.

BTW, I like Webb better than at least six of the candidates in that other debate.

I didn't watch, but read that in the post-debate stories. I'm sure there was smoke coming out of my ears. If either of them gets elected, we might as well just hand China and NK the keys to SIPRNet, because, what's the big deal, right?

From what I read, the debate was like a Discovery Channel reality show, and practically scripted by the DNC to stabilize Clinton with their base.

Also, I just read that they were each asked to name an enemy they were proud of making. Clinton said "Republicans". So you want to lead a country where half the population is your enemy? Nice.

The "Republicans hate SCIENCE!11!!1" meme is always amusing to me.

Conservatives reject Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming. That seems to the the only SCIENCE!!11!!1 the idiots posting this meme care about.

It's not conservatives trying to destroy GMO crops. It's not conservatives who believe vaccines cause autism. (Unless you happen to think Jenny McCarthy is a conservative.) It's not conservatives who stymie the building of nuclear reactors. It's not conservatives who thought that 50 parts per billion of arsenic in drinking water was a "YOU'RE MURDERING CHILDREN!" decision...
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

One thing I think the debate last night clarified: Biden has waited too long.  Based on Ms. Clinton's performance last night, I suspect that VP Biden will not be declaring his candidacy.

That isn't all too bad.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Bacon is the candy bar of meats!

Only the dead have seen the end of war!
