Why not just photo shop the entire ceremony?

Someone needs to put a version of that weapon from Krull on top of their hat.

When I was a kid, and graduated 8th grade at the section school, we threw our hats, and they weren't made of sissy mortar.  No sir,  out hat were made of Jarts.

It's about time someone acts!

Last year alone there were 14,207,827 deaths or grievous injuries from thrown graduation caps world wide.

It's an invisible apocalypse.

Wonder how many people are injured each year at West Point graduation,  since they throw military grade hats, not that cloth and cardboard stuff.

Seriously, does anyone know of any actual injury (not an ouchie) suffered by any hat/mortar board toss?  Or is this just another sign of the wussification of the world?

The two of you need to be a little more worried about throwing your own caps. That could really be dangerous.

Maybe they should just give all the graduates lawn darts instead.  What could go wrong?

Lemme guess, still had the mortar and a sharp trowel on it at the time?

Did he custom craft the mortarboard for him for a fixed price, but only offer him 1/10 the agreed-upon fee when he returned and claimed the mortarboard?

I hate it when that happens.

Ever since that day, I trained with that mortarboard to avenge his death.....
