Awesome! I may get Tivo just so I can record the live footage of the riots at the convention.  grin

Probably quite a few.

I've heard quite a few democrats complaining about it, though no one is really sure how often it's happening.

Everyone knew she was going to win, it's the spread that matters.

And we should welcome Obama to "the politics of personal destruction."   smiley

it was my understanding that unlike other states, in PA you had to already be registered as a Democrat in order to vote in the Democrat primary - you couldn't just show up at the polls and declare yourself one. So this result would seem to indicate disenchantment with Barack Hussein Obama among democratsgrin

(As bad - and I mean very, VERY bad - as Hillary is, I regard Obama as downright dangerous. I mean, is there ANYONE in the man's circle of friends and family that DOESN'T dislike America?)
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

You are right about the registration timing.  Operation Chaos started some time ago.  I heard that there were over 300,000 new Democrats registered within the time limit.  It will be interesting to see if we hear how many of those go away, and reregister Republican before the general election.   laugh

DU meltdown:

My house is like a morgue tonight...

My graduate student daughter came home to watch the returns
with us, and she is utterly devastated.

she was part of the ground game for Obama in West Philly,
she worked her butt off in the community, they were always on the phone,
and that team was tough on the volunteers.

She feels betrayed, not by the campaign, but by white people.
By comments she's heard and attitudes....our country still has so far
to go in how we live, and how we see ourselves...
(And we are white! She's very idealistic, and like many young people,
see beyond race and ethnicity, but she's getting an education about life,
that is painful for all).

But let's be honest: the undertone of this campaign, in the advertising and in comments
at the debates were underhanded, sly and divisive. Please don't take this as a critique
of the opposition campaign...just an observation. And the media! Let's not go there.

I'm trying very hard to remain objective, but my heart hurts for her
and for all the young people enthralled with the possibility of politics.

I wonder how this will effect all the young people who threw their hearts
into this new possibility?

You're right about the registration, but you could make the change up to 2 or 3 weeks before election day so it no doubt did happen.

Yea if Obama makes it, we only think supporting Mexico is bad, how about Africa at the same time??  But I've said before, that guy is a Muslim at heart and I've seen nothing to disprove it except he mixes some Africa in with it; he DOES hate America.  He hides his father from Americans for a reason.

No. They took their brains out and threw those, then chanted "O-BA-MA!" while knowing absolutely nothing about the man.

RE: D.U

I have a young friend, a great musician, who is totally an Obama supporter, all he can say about the gun issue is "no one will go after your guns"
but he has been avoiding me since "bittergate"

I told him via email two months ago that HRC will steal the nod, that old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill.

I can't convince my die hard libby musician friends because they have record contracts and money and I never made anything but had time to examine my beliefs .

I can steer them toward cynicism though, which in this case, is better then voting for BHO
