Arnie in a western?
« on: July 12, 2011, 10:40:27 AM »
http://www.deadline.com/2011/07/arnold-schwarzenegger-books-last-stand-western-will-test-his-post-scandal-popularity/

I think Liam Neeson would be much better for the role.

Heck, even Cheech Marin would be better.

Well, he has done it before...
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Ah, yes. Handsome Stranger, and the seven-shot six-shooter. Truly a dumb movie and a waste of Kirk Douglas, but entertaining as long as it wasn't expected to be anything other than an entertaining but dumb flick.

Ratz.

Why did I think you were referring to Sean Connery? (Answer: Obviously, because Sean Connery IS James Bond.)

I read the credits, I watched the trailer, and it still took me several minutes to figure out why you mentioned James Bond.

Sean Connery was in this spiffy movie involving horses and sixguns...

Connery did actually star in that masterful iteration of the western genre, Shalako.

Didn't Maria file for divorce? I wonder if Arnie will get his steroid shrivled 'nads back in the settlement?

Arnold had not made a decent movie for ten years before he helped run California into the ground.  I doubt I'll see this new one.

I could see Ahnold in a Western. Remember that a LOT of settlers were immigrants. And if you haven't seen Heaven's Gate, you need to. The long version, not the one that they sliced and diced to get it in the theaters.

You ain't looked close enough or in the right spots. Either that or you need to get your eyes checked.

Too, the scene was shot from a low angle.  Women should be photographed from a low angle.  I cannot fathom how come so many photographers don't realize this.
