Did the pilot lose track of where the taxi lane was? Looked like a storm and visibility may have been bad, but not that bad.

Hmmm - will it be just the pilot who goes to the Chinese equivalent of Russia's Lubyanka, or will they do the traditional Chinese thing and grab his whole family, up to 6th cousins?

News flash: Chinese pilots suck in good conditions, too.
As do most multi-crew Asian airlines. Too much conditioning to allow pilot in command (older Captain) to make all decisions. Have they even heard of CRM (https://skybrary.aero/articles/crew-resource-management-crm). Case in point Asiana at San Francisco.
