If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you will have $49.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you will have$33.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, youwill have $0.00 today.

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you will havereceived $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily and recycle. It is called the 401-keg.

A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year.

Another study found that Americans drank, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to thegallon!

Makes you proud to be an American

I must get mileage about like my old 3/4 ton farm truck.

I drink a lot more then 22 gallons =D and I don't have the time to walk for hours like I used to.

If I'm right, that should be around 9 beers a day, every day.  Assuming 5.5% alcohol per beer, and 1 beer = 1 pint.  That's also an average of ~2.5 miles a day.  Americans apparently  don't walk very far, and drink a lot.  Hell I live on the same street as like 3 microbrews, and I don't drink that much.

Sunday it felt a little better, but it was quite irritated from me rubbing it.
