Look, I oppose almost everything he stands for, but there are a few things I recognize: This IS a historic event.  The era of the Jacksons and Sharptons is over--no black man or woman will ever be able again, with any trace of credibility, be able to claim that they can't get ahead because of the system.

Has lack of credibility ever silenced the professional whiners/victims?  Go even further - did it hamper one's Presidential bid?

These guys aren't going to go away, not when their spokesman is occupying the Oval Office.
