As I have said before, I am thrilled that I am in the twilight of my career and have not had to handle one of the 'angel of death' cases.  Noting that this case was initially filed and prosecuted under the former Administration, I am honestly surprised the government did not seek the death penalty.  I wonder if it was a plea bargain in exchange for pleading guilty.

The Parole Board recently let a nurse out of prison here in Michigan who murdered 5 nursing home people.  She served 30 years.
