In my happy little gentrified neighborhood, I have people who are keeping urban chickens.

Thankfully, they tend to stay where the organic hipsters feed them, but they're often too damn dumb to get out of the street... The hipsters haven't figured out that you need both a significant fence (for  your 30x50 back yard) AND skill at trimming the wing feathers. Which involves catching them.

In other news, neighborhood free-roaming cats, possums, etc., have been looking significantly fatter.

Do you have any urban coyotes in your area?  (the animals...I mean the 4 legged animals.)

No clue who that is.

OK, looked him up.

Now have only the vaguest clue who he is.

I know many on here know of him, he's been mentioned a few time. He's known to make wild arse claims about cars and car care.

He's one step from the guy who is hawking the magical carb attachments that the big automakers tried to bury, but he rediscovered them...

Carbs...

Sigh...

Probably.

But you know something?

I'll take Scotty over the hipster Subaru drivers who wanted to return a pair of windshield wipers. They bought the things. They installed them.

Gee, how could you mess that up?

They said that they didn't clean the water off the window very well.

I reached out, picked one up, and took the protective shipping strip off the blade.

Then again, there was also the customer who wanted to leave on the bright yellow shipping strips... I think he was in a BMW, which likely is also consistently low on oil, because that costs money, and isn't flashy.

We sell a lot of tire shine/tire black. A LOT of it... And little tree air smellies.

We would have customers return caller IDs and other devices because "it always display the same number" Most where like oh but there were those who were not amused when I would take the device out of the box and peel off protective film with the example number off the display in front of them.

Makes me think of Heinlein's novella Gulf.

At thy right hand pleasures for evermore.
