DuckDuckGo is for Conspiracy Theorists

It appears that the MSM has discovered DuckDuckGo.

If you can access it, here's the actual NYT story. Worth a read to see a good example of the great reset fanbase in action. If you can read the comments to the article, I do have to give props that not all lefties have completely lost it. Many were calling NYT out because lefties, too, use DDG to escape Google.

Question:  Why does anyone turn to DuckDuckGo? 

Answer:  Because Google has been shown to be filtering their search results to hide articles and websites they don't like.  So if you want real search results especially on political topics or non-PC topics, you go somewhere else. 


The privacy issues are another reason.

But their reasons for using Duck Duck Go are pure and peaceful, such as to escape evil Google Capitalism, which is a right-wing construct that must be smashed. With peaceful violence. Which is peaceful, tolerant, and loving.

I didn't realize that DDG offered a privacy extension for Firefox.

I think I'll be loading that onto the computers at home this evening.

Google intervention is why I've been staying off Facebook, too.  Kind of a shame because Son1 is posting all kinds of pix and comments I'd like to see, but.

So now Facebook is sending me e-mails urging me to re-log in.

I'm even getting a little antsy about ordering stuff from the grocery store anymore.  Google seems to be everywhere you look nowadays.

Yeah, I know, but non-clinical paranoia is getting to be  a survival trait nowadays.

Google for the work related tech stuff.  DDG for everything else.

One odd little test I do is to search on an odd word or phrase from an old SF novel.  Google usually passes, nothing else does.

Google correctly knows it's the first line of "Deepness in the Sky".  DDG is confused.
