Supreme Court news that if true cannot be good.

Fox News just reported that chief justice Roberts is considering stepping down.

I have no link or other info. So any help would be appreciated. It was just reported as Breaking News on Fox by Megyn Kelly.

If true. This is staggering and could flip the makeup of the court.

More news in a moment from Fox. Conflicting reports that it's not true. I sure as *€%# hope so.


Edit:  I think it's rumor. Other than Fox announcing concern. I cannot find any major news agency reporting this.

That would be awesome.

Every right wing blogger just puts up a simultaneous story that Obama will resign.

He'd be dodging that for a week, instead of futzing with health care. =D

He's not?  I thought that was the point of his behavior over the past year: an indirect announcement that he's resigning in 2013.
