That time of year....
« on: November 30, 2009, 08:04:26 AM »
So, unless your head has been buried in the sand, you know Christmas is around the corner.

Alot of us think about charity this time of year, what to give and to whom.

If you don't already, I'd like you to consider giving to Toys for Tots.

Its as simple as picking up some toys during your regular shopping.

I've personally had several friends in life who've been affected by TFT.  Growing up poor and without any christmas, they said it was indescribable, having a US Marine deliver Christmas.  While you might think you're just donating a couple toys, you're not.  What you're delivering to some child is a Hero and some real Hope.

Heh. Leatherness fell for a young Sergeant in dress blues over the weekend and spent $60 in Walmart for his collection. She loves her Marines!
