That was fast: IRS refund
« on: February 25, 2011, 05:16:39 PM »
So using Tax Cut, I electronically filed my return about two weeks ago.  I just received an email that my refund had been deposited in my bank account.  That was fast.

Now to figure out what, if anything, to do with it.  I have no room for more bicycles or firearms, my first thought.  Not that I really need a titanium cyclocross to go along with the titanium road and mountain bikes......

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

So, you're getting your own money back, but with no interest earned.

And you will have to file quarterly estimated taxes this year, 'cause you had too much taken out.

Tell me again why this makes you happy.

stay safe.

You need a titanium frame revolver to match your titanium frame bike.

I have one by Taurus. I love it. And I sometimes carry it in the handlebar bag when I am biking.

Boringly enough, I parked it in savings, and I bet it is just going to stay there.

The Mrs. and I also got our interest free loan to Uncle Sam paid back yesterday.   We've been dumping everything into house projects and paying off debt, so we decided to treat ourselves and are going to Hawaii this year for our anniversary.

I got my AZ refund check today, e-deposited.  I filed last weekend.

Don't have the fed one yet, but I imagine it will come next week some time.
