Czech President shot
« on: October 01, 2012, 12:24:06 PM »
With an airsoft pistol...  and the shooter walked away.

The Czech secret service (or whatever they call their presidential body guards) are really on the ball! /sarcasm

The is some benefit to a president leading in such a way that no one wants to shoot him  ;)

If it has been a real gun, and it could easily have been, that Czech would be canceled.

Thats why were going all WTF man!? Its a total failure of the security force.

If it isn't obvious to you how it's a total failure, then no words of mine will convey the problem.

Junior Airsoft just proved how simple it is to get within easy shooting distance of the Czech president.  Next time it may not be an airsoft.  The president's security team need to up their game security procedures.

Which are supposed to be mitigated as much as possible by the security detail. It's what they train for, are paid for, yet weren't doing in this instance.

Yeah, I'm sure that'll fly with the SS POTUS protection detail, or Scotland Yard with the royal family and PM.  ;/

Really? Was there a real threat they missed? Was a guy with airsoft dangerous? Wouldn't reactimg to a guy with a toy while their principle was still neck deep in a crowd have been "security theatre"_

Mental note:

When I'm elected, make sure CSD is NOT part of my security team.

I guess after he shot their "principle" they knew whether or not he was a threat. After he shot him.

Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
