A few salient points but mostly socialist clap trap.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Home ownership is also a cornerstone of the American Religion. I get the strangest reactions when I tell people I would be happy if I never had to own a home again. For some reason it's just one of those things that you are supposed to do, like go to school.
Maybe a rare occurence, but then you only have to get murdered once to ruin your whole day.
