Yeah,  that's literally down the road from my little village.

The current chief is the sanctuary city type.  This sort of action isn't really new.  Lorain is the town where all the shootings happen,  the businesses have fled and the Puerto Ricans, Mexicans and blacks do whatever they want.  Basically,  unless you want Puerto Rican food (which is awesome,  and the only reason I ever go there),  they could burn the whole town down and Lorain county would be much better off.

/racist,  and I don't give two shits about who calls me that.  Lorain is a violent little 3rd world shithole that isn't safe after dark.

Sooo..... Kidnapping is still a felony, right?  I mean, I'm glad he got fired and all, as that's at least a step in the right direction, but why isn't he being charged?  (Or is the firing step one, so that the Prosecutor can use that disciplinary action as evidence that he wasn't acting within his scope as a LEO?

I'm glad no one's hurt, but come on, forcing a screaming 18 YO girl in the back of a car is grounds for use of force.  He literally made her, under threat of force, get in his car and drove away with her screaming, while no crime had been committed.  Awesome friends there.

It kinda was a solid middle class blue collar town...until back in the late 1980's it became a "sanctuary city" before sanctuary cities became cool ..

Yeah even mid 90's it wasn't bad in the good neighborhoods and then the mid 2000's I had my hand on the pistol I didn't want to get caught with but wouldn't go there without.
