latest news from ron paul
« on: April 16, 2012, 02:17:02 PM »
here is an excerpt from the latest cmpaign email congressman paul sent me.

Quote
Have you heard the news yet?

Yesterday, Minnesota held three district conventions.

Our campaign swept all three - winning nine delegates to the Republican National Convention in Tampa!

And in Colorado, I picked up 12 delegates and 13 alternate delegates, as my campaign pushed a "unity slate" with Rick Santorum's supporters that ended up with 20 total delegates - while Mitt Romney only walked away with 16 delegates!

The Denver Post even called it a "stunning upset."

sounds good to me.

Are you a Rino if you vote for Rino's?

Was I really still a libertarian (Actually I prefer classical liberal) even though I voted for GW twice? Or was I kidding myself with lessor of two evil rationalizations?

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

You were kidding yourself.

It was a rhetorical question!

I concur BTW.

What kind of rates are you getting, when you lease evils? Is there a discount if you lease two, instead of just one?

Apparently you get exponential growth rates of your federal governments size and its spending

Quote
The founders never intended the judiciary to have the last word on whether or not a law is constitutional. The judiciary is equal to the Congress and the President, not superior. Representatives, senators, presidents, and judges all have an independent duty to determine a law's constitutionality. The founders would be horrified by the attitude of many lawmakers that they can pass whatever laws they want and federal judges will then determine whether or not the law is constitutional.

I would vote for Ron, but I'm just tired of voting for the lesser of two evils.
