Title: White House .org polls on guns... by gunnies
Post by: Matthew Carberry on September 30, 2011, 01:06:46 AM
Sean S. at NC gun blog has links to them all.

http://ncguns.blogspot.com/2011/09/lets-have-some-fun-with-our-president.html

Topics:

Supporting HB822

Repealing Hughes Amendment

Taking Suppressors off the NFA

Taking SBS/SBR's off the NFA

Support an Independent Prosecutor for Gunwalker

You have to sign in, but we're all on "the list" anyway and they can't use it for spam.

If the petitions get to 500 signers the White House has to respond.

Right now the pro-AWB (not linked) has like 3 and has been up for a while.  I got 4 within a minute of posting mine (the SBS/SBR poll).

Signed them all. Probably just got my name bumped up to a higher priority watch list.

I'd love to see Obama make a statement on a national constitutional carry petition. It would be hilarious to read the public statement about " not wanting  federal incursions into states' rights" while he does exactly that with health care.

I didn't sign them because I don't want my name and city and email address to be published together.  I guess maybe I could get a throwaway yahoo e-address and sign up using just my initials...  Look at the T&C's, all your account information becomes public record and is archived.

Blog topic.  My new life goal is to be on so many lists that there will be so many Alphabet Agents at my funeral to make sure I'm dead, they'll trip over each other.

Why worry? They have all of that information a thousand times over, plus your tax returns.

Its more meaningful to give the administration the finger in broad daylight than to try to do it covertly.

Of course they have it.  But they don't publish the information for all to see.  (I get enough spam and telemarketing calls already)

So this is funny.  Went to register (from one of the linked petitions) and strangely enough, the registration is taking a long time to process (to send me the link to complete the registration)....

[tinfoil] maybe they're hoping that if they delay the registrations linked to those petitions, people will forget about signing them..... [/tinfoil]
