Yamaha MT-01- futuristic cruiser, makes over 100 ft lbs of torque, "Gear? I don't care what gear I'm in."

Last night I saw the only one in the US.  Owned by corbin, the seat company.

Aprilia Pegaso Strada, Pegaso goes less dualsport more supermoto, powered by a stompy 660 cc yamaha thumper.

Aprilia SVX 4.5, the only compact v-twin powered supermotard, makes sick hp in a lightweight chassis.

Honda CB500, Sensible, practical, not completely old technology (such as the GS500)

any other ones worth considering?

What happened to the old Honda CB1000F?  They still make it?  Cool rice burner without all the farings.

Oops.  I meant to say, "cool foreign bikes that aren't imported to the US."

Such as the unfaired yamaha FZ6, basically yamaha's 599.

I don't know if this is imported to the US or not, but I'm sure you'll appreciate the name if nothing else:

Royal Enfield Bullet

(Originally produced by the Royal Enfield Small Arms factory in England, advertised with the slogan "Built like a gun", which at the time would be taken to mean "highest engineering standards".  The was a program on BBC Radio 4 about it recently.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio4_aod.shtml?radio4/riding_bullet)

Anyone else digging that MT-01?  Wow, that's cool!
I do not smoke pot, wear Wookie suits, live in my mom's basement, collect unemployment checks or eat Cheetoes, therefore I am not a Ron Paul voter.

I wouldn't ride the MT, too big for my taste.  But if you want a cruiser that says, yes, I will totally smash your face in...the MT-01 is it.
