I'm glad to see government addressing the pressing concern of hormone-laden teens modifying a game to include crude sexual depictions, instead of dealing with something like the eminent domain ruling.

I suppose by this logic Windows could be in trouble too, because somebody might make a naughty wallpaper for use as a desktop.

I could write a mod for any moddable game, heck a custom map for any mappable game, that was loaded with porn.  Heaven forbid someone be able to access porn on the internet.  That is like saying ban books that you can write dirty things in.  

Maybe if parents are so outraged that their kids are playing these games, tehy should start being parents.

Gee, I wonder where this great "savior" of all human kind was at when DOOM was out?  I mean, they called the mods WADS and they had all sorts out there.  I had the 'naked.wad', the one (I forget the name of it, it was created in Japan or something, it was hard to find unless you could read the funny characters) that had all sort of sex in it was great!  (if you beat the "monsters" or whatever you were fighting you got to have sex with the "mother of the monster").  

It was just fun (and it wasn't XXX stuff, you only heard what was said behind the closed door and then it would open (the door) and "you" and the monster would be smoking a ciggarette).

I think Hilary is confusing the role of gov't with that of parent.  If parents discover their kids buying lewd games they should impose a fine.  If they dont and they dont care whether their kids grow up to be moral midgets then big deal.  Kids will figure it out later when they cant get a date.

Mrs. Snopes Clinton is doing two things: 1.) keeping her name in the news, and 2.) shotgunning for issues. She may be the single most morally repugnant politician in America today, but she's got some awfully smart handlers.

Heres my thinking on this.

The only way your kids are going to be exposed to this is by downloading this particular mod off the internet. In order to do so, they would need to ahve unrestricted access to the internet. If your kids already have unrestricted access to the internet then they already have as much porn as they could ever possibly want. And here we have another "problem" that is solved be even a measure of halfway decent parenting.
