I've got one up on that - I used to watch Headbanger's Ball when Adam Curry hosted!  :lol:  I even have both a t-shirt and denim jacket that I ordered from the show.

Yeah, it was Adam Curry when I watched it.  All the original VJ's, Martha Quinn, Nina Blackwood, J.J. Jackson, Alan Hunter, Mark Goodman, etc. The golden days of MTV, as it were...

I know I ain't the youngest spring chicken around these parts, but I still have my Monsters of Rock Tour t-shirt somewhere in a box in the garage.  Tampa, 1988, IIRC.  Van Halen, Scorpions, Dokken, Metallica, Kingdom Come...

MTV had...music videos? Unpossible! How did they manage to squeeze in all the reality-tv shows then?

Oh gawd, I remember the headbangers ball as well. That was back in the "big hair" days. As for St. Anger, I did not like that album either. At least their newest album was better than St. Anger!
