No drinking of Kool-Aid here.

Where's the cool-aid?   Someone really wants to know.

1. Rush is the best at what he does on the face of the Earth.  Just like Oprah was.

2. He found a niche market of ~50% of the population that was/is neglected by the MSM.

Add those two together and you see the titanically success that Rush has had.

Hear, hear! I'd add, we have cable news to thank for this. The competition for ratings and drive to fill airtime killed (OK, mortally wounded) the facade of sanctimonious "journalistic objectivity" clung to by the big 3 networks for so many years. The debate and opinion programming pulled Matthews and his ilk into the open, exposing their inherent biases.

Not to mention the internet, and Mr. Limbaugh, himself. And all the other radio guys.

You know, I really do wonder why I have not seen Matthews on TV since the DNC convention?  Has anyone seen him on his regular show which airs 7:00PM ET in the last week or so?  Honestly, I think NBC may have dumped him??  ..or maybe Comcast dumped him from their cable lineup?
