You forget, he has to face Michelle every night.
Then Bill must be a super-hero.....

Not so much
Why Bill isn't a hero!

Why Bill isn't a hero!Okay, then you go home to her every night ??
Where can you get cast iron jock straps ?? I'd bet that's all that stands in the way of her foot and Bill's little friend. I shudder when I think of how she's handling the campaign situation in private these days.......
By posting that link I was trying to imply that I don't think he's going home to her every night.
Anyway, I just want to ask, how much courage does it take to oppose something, when no one is even listening to you?
Honestly? I think, "a lot," if you ever think you might go somewhere.
I am on record, lots of places, saying that Native American sovereignty is a myth (Limited sovereignty? Oxymoron.), that doing things like filing litigation for direct ownership of the Black Hills is incredibly stupid and merely pricks the leviathan, and that the recent actions of the Cherokee tribe are stupid beyond all comparisons. (They have, by virtue of acts, invited the Feds into the henhouse to determine who is, and is not, Native, on a case-by-case basis.)
If/when I ever am placed in a leadership position, for/by Natives, for business/politics, I hope I was right. (I AM.)
Such stances do not readily go away.
The real query is whether Obama made such a stance anticipating long-term government/military ineffectualness -- status quo -- so that he would appear Golden Boy. That's not bravery...
