Not choice, not prime, but they had a lot to choose from. I looked thru and picked 4 of the better ones with marbled fat, all were packaged 1 per. I can make a 14-16oz grade T bone edible for less than ground burger prices.
I bought 4 total for $19. I’ll cook 2 and vac seal/freeze 2.

How and where did you manage that?
Did the cow die of something catching?

Locally owned grocery store. Somebody musta screwed up and ordered 3 truckloads instead of 3 pallets or something.
Some were cut thin, some thick, some in between. I know they get big cases of meat and then break them down here. Not pre cut and not carcass halves.
Even if it’s not choice meat I’m pretty sure I can make them good enough for that price. Tomorrow night. I’ll give them a squeeze of fresh lime, salt and pepper, and grill them slower so they’ll be more tender than otherwise.
