suggestion thread, new military cadences for gay recruits

Can I be the first service member on this board to say:

1. I didn't really care in the first place.  It's always been pretty easy to tell who was gay. Yes, even in Combat Arms.

and

2. I'm already more annoyed at the tearing out of hair, the endless pontificating of pundits, the cries of both "Revolution" and "Doom!" and various hoopla about this decision than I am at the thought that someone in the shower might like my dong.

Given the quality of the recruits i saw at Fort Sill when I was there as a drill sergeant from April 09-Apr 2010, it couldn't possibly get worse.

In all seriousness, it is time for the military to get over all these cultural gender hang ups we have.
Eliminate separate facilities for male and female, berthing, toilets and showers. Same for training, starting at boot camp. 
Add females to selective service.
No more separate uniforms, everybody wears the same thing/style, whether dress or BDU.

B. She's into guys but looks like one of the bugs

This is the US Military, specifically the US Army.  Do you think the same folks who designed & procured the old TA-50 & the abortion of a harness to make it jump-able...or the MTV/Interceptor armor that is incompatible with the MOLLE ruck...would specify something like a tactical utilikilt?  In your dreams.  Reality would have all the drawbacks of both a utilikilt and a silk skirt.


The shitty thing about the contemporary armed forces is that it embodies all the very worst pieties and authoritarianism of both right and left*.  I really don't know if I'll be able to recommend the armed forces to my kiddos, as they teach such perverted values.






* Granted the lefty pieties are imposed by scum-sucking social engineers, but the spineless Os go right along.

Back in the early 80s SNL did a skit called the Gay Brigade where the Army forms a brigade made up entirely of gays. They they had their own cadence that the commander sang and were supposedly stationed at Ft. Dix.

I have served in a military that allows gay people to serve openly. The problems predicted are wholly fictional.

Indeed, the Israeli military has far more problems with religious orthodox than it has with gays.
