Holy smokes- I found authentic German food in Idaho! In Eagle (or "igle" as rancid Crabtree would say). Eating jaeger schnitzel and tater Salad and washing it down with a properly poured weizen right this minute.
My dad will be jealous when I tell him it's as good as his. The staff all look like beardy hipsters, but they know their stuff. Hopefully this place doesn't disappear like every other kraut joint I've been to.

He must have misunderstood that it's only in Germany:

I didn't want the hipsters serving me to think I was one of them. :P =D

Ben, you should come out to Cincinnati sometime during Octoberfest season and give it a whirl.

When they ask you if you want a 12oz tap of Spaten or a liter, do realize they said 'liter,' not 'pint.'

^^^That menu had me drooling a bit. There is not a lot of German or eastern European food in the Seattle area.

Yeah, that's a scrumptious menu. :)
Except for the Spaten, the Coors of Germany. =D
