They can't see more than one move ahead, apparently.
Doing this is just going to make people in other states think it could happen where they are, and thus NOT vote for the Ds in the next election.
Which is fine by me, but there was a time when the Ds could take a longer view. Tha's gone now. Which also is alright by me.
