A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

"There's a lot of stuff completely out of Obama's control or any of the Democrats' control,"

See, it's not The Obama's fault.  It's not even the Dems' fault.

Heck, I'll bet he would say is not even Fistful's fault.

But then again, he was wrong to begin with, so he'd be wrong on that last one, too.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Now, if only someone would capture this man's disappointment in an image.

The word DUPE would seem appropriate, in such an image.

The naivety of Obama and some of his base.

Obama came into the Presidency under the assumption (on how things work as a community organizer I guess) that changing things in America would be as simple as buying a restaurant and changing the staff uniforms from blue to red.

I still remember seeing an image of him on the news after he exited his first security brief as president. I was trying to figure out if the expression was, "Damn this crap -- I can't just do what I want" or, "Oh my God, how was I to know there were this many threats to the country and things aren't as simple as they seem?"

Anyway, there was a definite change after he saw what was behind the curtain marked "classified". His base is still clueless and wondering why the uniforms haven't changed color yet.

because the spirit of the Obama campaign hasn't carried over to the Obama presidency"

I don't know about YOUR magic rainbow skittle pooping unicorn, but Fairey's unicorn died after the Kool-Aid left his body.

Ironically, it is not really the foreign policy issues that are getting him the bad poll numbers.  In general, he is doing pretty much was Bush did, but with his own brand of indecisiveness.

If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.
