 I like ZZ Top but have heard their live show is boring. Especially now that the guys could do credible Wilford brimley imitations.

They may not be the rockingist, but my friend in Iowa introduced me to Siouxsi and the Banshees last week. I'd heard of them, but had never heard of their music. Let's just say that 'm absolutely blown away.
