The plaintiff in the case, Larry Jones, of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, was injured when his Glock 19C pistol discharged unexpectedly at the shooting range in June 2013, the lawsuit says. At the time he was trying to attach a tactical light.

According to the complaint, the pistol had not been modified or changed since he bought it in December 2000. The lawsuit alleges Glock sold the pistol “in a defective condition which rendered (it) unreasonably dangerous.”

Presumably, "defective condition" means it lacked a "Not to be used by f***wits" warning.

Here's hoping the lawsuit gets tossed and the plaintiff has to pay all court costs and attorney fees.

I have no idea why this silliness was allowed to go to trial at all.

No. It did not discharge unexpectedly. It should be fully expected to discharge when the trigger is pulled.

Which is what this dumb *expletive deleted*ck did while trying to put a light on a loaded gun at a gun range.

What was unexpected is that someone so stupid would be allowed in public without a helmet, spit bib, and adult escort.

My TLR-1 Manual says very clearly to never attempt to install it on a loaded gun.  I have to assume that's a pretty common warning on WML.

So it would seem he failed to RTFM, and is now suing.  We should publicly ridicule him to the greatest extent possible until he takes responsibility for his own actions.
