Not giving the keys to the kingdom at Yalta != declaring war on Russia.

This VERY timely article addresses both sides of the conversation we had today.

I identify with that remark--not because of lack of competent adult leadership in my own life so much as a casting back into history, searching for the most recent undeniably great and good thing my generation can learn from.

I will be looking forward to the next installment.

I am convinced of it.
Read this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Fourth-Turning-American-Prophecy-Rendezvous/dp/0767900464/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316813764&sr=8-1

That book opened my eyes to the times we are living in. That book was written before 9/11, before crash of '08.

When I compare WW2 middle aged Lost generation, to our entering middle aged Gen-X; I see a common behavior.
When I compare WW2 old Missionary generation, to our entering old age Boomers; I see the religion is different but the tumultous "religious" fervor was/is the same.

The Millennials are entering young adulthood. And I see many similarities in attitude to that GI generation. Which corresponds to the generation which fought the Civil war, the War for Independence, Glorious Revolution, Armada Crisis, and War of the Roses. Do notice these all happen at roughly 80 to 100yr intervals?

I’m not saying I invented the turtleneck. But I was the first person to realize its potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtleneck! The… tactleneck!
