Title: YouTube's new policy has "unintended" consiquences.
Post by: freakazoid on June 06, 2019, 09:06:50 PM
In case you aren't aware, YouTube has done a massive ban on anything that they basically consider "far right". Anything they consider "supporting Nazis", "homophobia", Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, etc. Apparently WW2 history lessons fall into that.

The first one is behind a paywall but the Guadian link talks about the same thing.
Although this Mr. Allsop, the guy who had his history lesson videos removed, doesn't appear to bright. "I fully support YouTube’s increased efforts to curb hate speech, but also feel that silencing the very people who seek to teach about its dangers could be counter-productive to YouTube’s intended goal."

I've been following some of this in regards to this Carlos Maza jackass and Twitter's bowing to him and changing policy practically by the minute each time he complains they haven't censored the people he doesn't like. Given their new policies as of now, it seems to me 80% of these "blue check" progressives are supposed to be banned by now if Twitter follows its own rules in an unbiased manner.

[Narrator: They won't.]

On the good ship
Lollipop
It's a sweet trip
To the candy shop
Where bon-bons play,
On the sunny beach
Of peppermint bay
Lemonade stands,
Everywhere
Crackerjack bands,
Fill the air,
And there you are,
Happy landings on a chocolate bar.

I always wonder who these idiots are in these companies who receive a few complaint calls and let that drive changes in their advertising.  At least youtube can say they just have idiots setting policy and programming bots who then kill all sorts of unintended channels and videos.

I hope more and more people are learning that apologizing to these people doesn't help. The Left really has no business policing anyone's morals or racial attitudes, anyhow.

People should just migrate their stuff over to pr0nhub, instead of giving yootoob something to profit from.

Cool. BB is usually just a collection of headlines, with articles that don't really add anything to the joke. But that one was pretty good.

Had to look up "RKO," though. I thought that was a company that made black&white movies.

Would be a better good story if it wasn't written as an "Alt-Right, then saw the light" slant piece.
