Would the African gent be more "thrilled" if the perps were some other hue? Not sure why we're interested in the race of the principals here.  ???

How much would a minor actually be punished for assault and car theft?

They let EVERYONE (as long as they're the right everyones...) out as soon as they are booked. Promise to appear. Sure...

You've probably seen news about Cori Bush? She's considered a moderate around here.

Blame a lot of that on the politicians/legislators who are passing laws that make it harder and harder to hold someone or set a high bond.  There is a push to force judges to release all but "the very worst" offenders before trial because... just because.  They are taking discretion out of the hands of judicial officers, because the legislators are sure they know more than the judges looking at the actual facts of the crime and the person's prior history.    [barf]

The prior history doesn't matter. They're turning their lives around, and just want to get enough money to go to bible college so that they can become rap stars.
