Missing posts - Pre-March 2008?
« on: January 13, 2009, 01:44:13 PM »
I may have missed a thread on this already, but thought I'd ask here.

Did we lose posts prior to March of 2008?  I had something in particular I wanted to look for, but couldn't find it with searches.  When I went to the last page in each forum, I March 2008 was the earliest I could find.

Am I just doing it wrong?

Try using google's advanced search options.  The APS search tool is FUBAR'd.

The lazy DBA around here hasn't finished converting all the old data to fit the newest version of the forum software and loaded it all back in.

March 23rd is the cut-off date.  And yes, we will have all the back history restored when I finish getting it in the format we need.

If there is anything in particular you need, let me know and I'll try to find it in the SQL file.

Jfruser,  Good call.  I'll give it a shot.

Nick,
Darn that lazy DBA.  Thanks for the heads up.  It's nothing terribly important.  If Google can't find it, it can wait.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.  I'm a fair hand with SQL in any of the common flavors.
