Guy walks into the bank and hands the teller the typical "I am a robber" note... with a UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICER  :police: at the next teller window.

Idiot had no situational awareness or tunnel vision.  But more likely than not, just plain stupid.

I can see tunnel vision in something like this, I know I'd be freaked out and nervous were I to try to pull something like a bank robbery off!

Some years back there was a story about an attempted bank robbery in Washington.

Just down the street from FBI headquarters.

Shortly after shift change.

On payday. (Still mostly paper checks back then, rather than direct deposit.)

Several dozen FBI agents had to draw straws to see who got credit for the arrest.
