Government Speak

So Washington State along with several others has been looking into ammo serialization.  The particular House Bill in Washington was read and "Referred to Judiciary".  Can anyone tell me what that might mean?  I can't figure it out or find out on the Wa. Government site.

Usually means it's being reviewed for legality, probably by the state Attorney General.

It means the bill was referred to the Judiciary Committee for review. If they vote it out of committee, it'll proceed to the floor for discussion and vote. If they don't "vote it out" ... it stops at the committee room door.

Thankfully I am not a huge ranter but I can point out to them that the bill is silly and will end up doing more harm than good and they should kick it out the door.

And this is why all you people should care what happens in California.  This ammo serialization started here, and non-Californians just laughed at how much our gun laws suck.  Well suck on the suckage my friends.  What happens in California leaks out on the rest of you.
