By Tuesday evening I had 40 hours in at the office. Another software delivery.

Wednesday was just icing on the cake, so Thursday and today were take the day off to recover from the last month.

Yesterday I did go into the office long enough to get a mostly free meal in celebration of a coworker's retirement. God was I full! Anyone who lives in Northern Virginia probably knows of Maggiano's. GREAT food.

Today I'm just going to sit around, listen to the rain, and watch Firefly.

I do have some errands to run, and I have to go to the store, but other than that...

I'll check in occasionally.

Oh, and regarding my posting habits...

I have a job that is best categorized as hurry up and wait. Even during oppressively busy times there will be intermitten chunks of time spent waiting for someone else to finish their work so I can complete mine. That's nice from a posting standpoint.

I have the wrong kind of gubermint job. I'm on freaking standby all weekend. To add insult to injury, this is the first dove opener that I've missed in around ten years. I'm way in the doghouse with my bird dog.
