Is there a site that aggregates information about research organizations, such as who their scholars are, who gives them money, and their particular policy focus and political leanings, and does it better than searching via Google?

Most "think tanks' are structured more like secret societies. Powerful and influential people meet in secret and decide on the outcomes of their "objective and scholarly research" and make investments based on the calculated response to their news releases.
