Credible sources indicate that the president of the United States watched in real time what might well be called the Benghazi snuff film.

Gave me pause for thought. As always engage your brain and make up your own decisions, but you might give the article a read.

That's actually kinda scary...
No Child Should Live In Fear

What was that about a pearl handled revolver and someone from New Orleans again?

Screw it: just autoclave the planet (thanks Birdman)

Meh.  Presidents make decisions all the time.  Sometimes they're bad ones.
The problem is when you make a weak, wrong decision and then cover it up because it doesn't fit your political narrative, lie to the American people.....well.....then......

Too bad it's an epidemic.  If it were Obama alone he'd never have won the last Election.  You have a semi-nation of malignant narcissists who see in BHO their ultimate collective expression.

The trouble with this Election is it doesn't change the underlying culture even if Romney wins.  The cultural and demographics trends are still in place, and to deal with those, to turn them, will require something new in America and no doubt something, were it to happen, rather unpleasant.

You folks here at APS are the cream of the crop in so many ways.

We are FUBAR.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

The assassination thing does bug me. Execution by secret committee is something that bears very close scrutiny.  But the drone video thing doesn't suprise, or bother me.  I dont have ant reason to believe that the ambassador was not a friend of Obama's.  Im sure Dubya sat in a room and watched many people die on video...it's part of being the President these days. Hardly a Snuff film.

What makes it a snuff film is having the ability to effect a different outcome and choosing not to, intentionally letting people die while watching it live.

If we live in a culture based on the vicarious, as more and more of us do, drones are just a logical technological extension of that.

Assassin's Creed is not an accident, it is a meme.

I think that's an insult to the malignant narcissist community  :P
Freedom is a heavy load, a great and strange burden for the spirit to undertake. It is not easy. It is not a gift given, but a choice made, and the choice may be a hard one. The road goes upward toward the light; but the laden traveller may never reach the end of it.  - Ursula Le Guin

What doesn't change whether it is Obama or Romney is the fact that we are headed for a massive economic implosion.  I hope liberals don't get too giddy.

I'd rather it happens on a rabid socialist's watch instead of a lukewarm socialist's. That way when some people somewhere get the idea of freedom in their minds sometime in the distant future, they will have another data point in history of socialist fail. Whether they connect the dots is another question entirely.

They haven't so far in this country.  Too stupid to do the math.

It will still be Bush's fault.

Speaking of Bush…

There are people who are talking up Jeb Bush.  He has a Mexican wife. That will save us.

This.  Everything I've read and heard about Jeb makes him my least favorite Bush.

Bush was "sent."  Just like Obama.

Who is doing the sending?  I think we'd better find out.
