House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that barring “overwhelming” new evidence she would not pursue impeachment against President Trump because it would be too divisive and “he’s just not worth it.”
So is the translation of this the same as no collusion?

Tactical retreat, at best.

Who? Putin? He must have something good on her to make her dance like that.

Guess who?
Apparently submitting a budget is now an impeachable offense

Pelosi has been pretty reserved on the whole impeachment thing. Eventually her members will push her there I think but so far she hasn't been the one pushing.
Nancy Pelosi, who was re-elected to Speaker of the House Thursday, said she isn't ruling out impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump, depending on findings by the special counsel investigating Russia's meddling in the 2016 election.
"We shouldn't be impeaching for a political reason, and we shouldn't avoid impeachment for a political reason," she said.

Trump could have sent them a blank sheet of paper and he would have said something similar. (no matter what color the paper was)

IIRC, impeachment is a political act, as if tried and found "guilty" by the Senate, the only "punishment" they can impose is removal from office. They cannot sentence anyone to jail.

True, but once out of office, the deposed president is subject to the criminal justice system (unless a subsequent president issues him a pardon).

And we all know that could never happen.

The current crop of Democrats believe in total destruction of the opposition in any way available. I don't think legalities or ethics matter much.

Granted, it's a show vote but still there isn't much that's unanimous when it comes to Mueller these days.
House votes 420-0 to make Mueller's report public
Everyone wants to see the Mueller report. Yes, literally everyone.
Attorney General William Barr has so far refused to promise to make the contents of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe public — an issue that led most Senate Democrats to oppose his confirmation in the first place. Yet it seems even Republicans are fed up with the secrecy, as the House voted unanimously Thursday on a resolution demanding the report be made public.
